ALIS meets BERLIN - Japan's First Social Media Using Blockchain

Two of the founders (CEO&CTO) of ALIS are visiting Berlin for a week towards the end of October. We would like to host a small casual meetup to exchange our knowledge and have beer and fun with the local community in Berlin!

ALIS is a leading blockchain project in Japan whose team has pulled off the very first ICO in the country with about 4 million euros. The CEO Masahiro Yasu and the CTO Sota Ishii are the brains of the company who have the best knowledge of the blockchain industry in Japan and the technology in general.

ALIS is a blockchain based blogging platform where you can get rewarded for your articles and its ultimate goal is to visualize trust of contents and writers/creators bihind them, which will let people quickly reach and find what they are actually loocking for instead of the spammy contents of the current broken web filled with advertisements and false information.

ALIS is currently in private bata with about 3000 users, but it will open up a public bata in December expecting an explosion of recognition and popularity of the platform in Japan.

One of the great reputation ALIS has earned in Japan is for building a very enthusiastic user community behind the project which is one of the hardest things to achieve for many early stage startup projects. 

On the technical side, ALIS develops its platform with Ethereum private chain in combination with serverless technology which led them to a partnership with Microsoft to work on the blockchain technology together.

In additions to the ALIS founders, two or three of the global ambassadors of the project are joining the meetup to share how we are building such a successful community around ALIS project.

You will have a chance to meet and talk with the very people in charge of building the enthusiastic community and a leading blockchain project in Japan to take off and explode in the coming years.

The very reason we are hosting this meetup is because we think the way ALIS community is and the way Berlin community is have a lot in common and we believe this could be a start of something amazing if we let these two communities meet each other. 現在日本で話題沸騰中のALISというブロックチェーンプロジェクトからCEOの安氏とCTOの石井氏が１０月の終わりにかけてベルリンを訪問することを受け、ベルリンのローカルコミュニティの皆さんと小規模でカジュアルな知見交換のミートアップを開催したいと思います。

今回は上記した創始者二名に加え、ALISの公認アンバサダーとして各国で暗躍する二名ないし三名がミートアップに参加予定です。日本有数の熱狂的コミュニティや先進的なブロックチェーンプロジェクトがどのようにして誕生したのか等をシェアできるメンバーです。

今後日本のブロックチェーン・テック業界を牽引していくであろうプロジェクトの創始者とアンバサダー陣を向かえ、小規模にカジュアルなミートアップでゆる～く、かつ密度の高い時間を過ごせればと考えております。

実は今回このミートアップを開催しようと思ったのは、ALISのコミュニティとベルリンのコミュニティの盛り上がり方に草の根的な何か似通ったものを感じているからということがあります。日本でとても盛り上がっているコミュニティと、似た性質を持つベルリンコミュニティを掛け合わせることによって何か化学反応が起こって大きなムーブメントが始まるきっかけになるのではないかという淡い期待もあったりします。ベルリンの文化やコミュニティが素晴らしいとお感じであれば是非ALISミートアップにご参加下さい！もしかしたら日本のオンラインに同じような文化が存在しているかもしれません。
