Established as a result of the unique visionary union of two passionate Reading Bachateros: Tabs (Founder of Bachata Lovers' Reading Est. 2008) and Tayo (Bachata dancer and teacher). Both seasoned Uk Bachatastars Finalists claiming bronze and silver in their respective years of competing in 2011 & 2012. A unique feat they will like to see repeated.
we are passionate about bringing bachata to everyone in a fun and friendly way. Our classes are designed to teach all the techniques you need know and help you master them. We believe learning is part of the fun and structure our classes to make sure you get the best exposure to dance.
Any one can learn to dance bachata, and our instructors are always happy to help you with your bachata journey. We incorporate techniques from the full bachata spectrum to help you become a fully rounded bachata dancer. This includes dominican, sensual and modern bachata styles.
Reading has spawned some superstars of Bachata in the UK through its love of the dance. In 2012 Reading participants came second taking away a rather large shiny trophy.
They took part in the the only national Bachata Freestyle competition in the UK called Bachata Stars UK where the winners go onto to represent the UK in Bachata Stars Europe.
The previous year we came third again reaching the finals and taking away a shiny trophy.
In February 2015 due to the lack of Kizomba lessons and dancing in Reading we introduced Kizomba Reading 2.0. It has a been a great success since day one and now is part of our weekly roster.
