Learn to create your own 3D Character Design using Blender 2.8, a free 3D Software, then watch it come to live in a 3D Print! You will need to bring your own Laptop.
Grew up watching Disney animation movies? Have you always doodled away your own character creations? This class is great for anyone with a passion for drawing, painting and a love for Disney Pixar movies, and have often asked themselves, "how do I make my characters 3D?"
Join us for an introduction to basic 3D character design specially for anyone age 15 to 45, who are interested in designing characters. We will teach you the various processes and 3D techniques on creating a character from start to finish, following a detailed process to a completed 3D character with lighting and color, perfect for your portfolio.
In this 1-day introduction class, you will learn to use a free 3D software,
After you have created your 3D character, we will send it out for print and have them delivered back to you. This includes processing time of up to 2 weeks. Note: 3D Print isnt immediate. It is a time consuming process. Each student will be allowed to print only one character from the class. The print color will be in white only, which allows you to paint over in your own designs!
Class Details:
8-December, Saturday.
1-Day Class from 10am-6pm. (Lunch from 12-1pm)
Location next to Tai Seng MRT.
Full hands on training.
Small class environment.

What you will need to bring to class:
• Recommended: 2014 or newer PC Laptop & Charger with
• Install Blender 2.8.
• Windows 10 preferred.
• 3-Button Mouse

2. What do i need to bring?
Bring your own laptop, charger, mouse and a notebook and pen for note taking.
3. Is there a minimum class size to proceed?
Yes. We require a minimum class size of 4 people to proceed with the class.
In the event that there is insufficient participants, Mek Lab reserves the right to reschedule the class. Under such circumstances, we will inform you no later than 3 days before the event.
