North Texas Universities Film Festival

The North Texas Universities Film Festival will be Thursday Feb 23rd at the Studio Movie Grill on Spring Valley. The Video Association of Dallas sponsors this annual event and does the professors of the major film and video university programs in the North Texas area, SMU UNT and UTA, select a non-competitive festival of film and video work.
This is a great opportunity for high school students trying to decide what film program to go to in the area and meet the students and faculty who teach there.
This is also a great opportunity for producers and media companies to meet the best of the next generation of filmmakers.
The event was developed, like many things, over drinks, when faculty from each of the schools were talking about how we could get students from each of our schools to meet each other..
The films from different programs will be interspersed through the program and there will be Q and A after the screening. The screenings is free and open to the public
