***HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY*** CLASS DESCRIPTION Your wild journey in clay begins here! Beginning Handbuilding teaches foundational skills for forming ceramic objects using pinch, coil and slab techniques. Students will receive instruction, construction time, and assistance as needed. Projects vary in both functional and sculptural works. Students in this class will produce between 6-8 small or medium projects in a semester. All clay, glazes, shared tools and firings are included in the session price. Each Semester Season consists of three 4-week sessions with one 90-minute class per week. Makeup time for missed classes due to illness are available at specified times on Fridays. We recommend registering for all 3 sessions at the same time to ensure space for your child throughout the semester.
