Our Learn the Game/Learn to Shoot safety class takes non-shooters and beginners through the basics of learning to handle a shotgun to shooting targets while using proper range etiquette. This class is offered on most Fridays and occasional Wednesdays at 5:00 pm. The Learn the Game class covers range safety rules and etiquette, safe handling of a shogun, preparing to shoot, stance, and shooting clay targets. The class also incorporates instruction on the game of Wobble as well as shooting your first game! Each class accommodates five people and pre-registration is required, as there are no walk-in spaces. The class costs $60 per person and lasts about one and a half hours. All equipment is included except eye protection. Acceptable eye protection includes safety glasses, prescription glasses, and sunglasses. Safety glasses can be purchased at the Pro Shop for $6 if needed. The class is open to everyone age 12 and up. Come dressed for the weather and ready to have some fun! ------------------------- *** No Refunds or Cancellations Within Two Days of Class Time *** Our Learn the Game class is for those who have never shot shotguns before as well as those who are looking to learn a new shotgun sports game. This class includes both the Learn to Shoot class content as well as instruction as you shoot the game of Wobble. This class is offered most Fridays and occasional Wednesdays at 5:00pm and is open to everyone ages 12 and up. Students 12 through 17 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult or guardian. The guardian does not have to participate but must be present at all times. In the class you will cover:* Range safety and etiquette* Safely handling the shotgun* Preparing to shoot* Hitting targets! This class is outside all year, so please dress for the weather. We suggest closed-toe shoes and no tank tops. *** Please Remember to Bring Eye Protection, As Safety Glasses Are Not Included *** This class is great for friends, couples, bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthday parties and folks just looking for an introduction to the shooting sports.
