"By Cerise" at The Junction

“By Cerise” is a series of plays by Cerise De Gelder, a playwright based in Melbourne, Australia. Catch “Unforgettable” and “Snap” performed at The Junction, an independent performance theatre in Alserkal Avenue. “Unforgettable” tells a story that spans multiple centuries – from the 1500s to modern day. It all shares one common denominator – a piece of art everyone thought would be forgotten in the annals of time.  The second play, “Snap,” is a dark comedy about friends stuck on a promontory – raised land that descends into lowland or water – with a dead body. Inevitably, skeletons start walking out of each character’s closet to reveal unexpected truths.
