Canberra: World Environment Day Event at Mitchell Grasslands

About World Environment Day is the largest global platform for environmental public outreach and aims to educate people on the environment and the challenges it faces. Join us this World Environment Day and get your hands dirty maintaining revegetation sites (e.g., repairing tree guards, watering and mulching) and removing invasive weeds. You will be helping improve the biodiversity of Mitchell Grasslands by removing priority weeds and reestablishing native vegetation. You will be provided with gloves, and all tools and equipment required to undertake the tasks on the day. The Landcare Team leader(s) will give a safety induction and instruction on all tasks. Time: 9:30am - 2:30pm. A catered lunch will be provided. Capacity: 20 people Further information will be sent to you after booking.
