Up Close and personal with Drew McAlister

Country Rocks and Tallagandra Hill Winery are excited to announce Up CLOSE & PERSONAL WITH DREW MCALISTER SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 27TH. Drew will be performing all his hit country tracks as well as a few brand new songs. Supporting Drew will be Canberra local rising star Stewart Barton.Drew McAlister, at the forefront of contemporary Australian country music, has built a solid career that has already seen him nominated for an ARIA Award, win a Golden Guitar and a CMC OZ Artist award. Drews organic country rock music moves us to celebrate lifes greatest joys, and to reflect upon the challenges that confront us all. Drew is recognised as one of Australias premier singer songwriters. The former McAlister Kemp mainstay has penned hundreds of tunes. Hes worked with US songwriting royalty including Brett Jones (Jason Aldean), Brian Maher (Taylor Swift) and Dylan Altman (Tim McGraw) and performed alongside the cream of Aussie country talent including Beccy Cole, Sara Storer and Adam Brand. The Sunday Session will be performed in Tallagandra Hills new event venue with the band on stage betwee 3.30 to 5.30pm. A range of Tallagandra Hill wines, local beers and cheese snack boxes will be available. The Country Rocks show featuring Drew McAlister and Steward Barton, is part of Tallagandra Hills We Love Local Festival, supporting local artists and producers. BOOKINGS ARE INVITED FOR GROUPS OF 4-10 ONLY BECAUSE OF SEATING REQUIREMENTS (DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS). Car-pooling is encouraged. DOORS OPEN AT 3PM (NOT BEFORE).
