with special guest tba Fresh from their largest single release yet
with the Yours Truly, Eora/Sydney-based pop-punk act BESTIES return
with 'you made a mess of me' — a track that blends midwest-emo
nostalgia and modern pop. Co-written with Punk/Rap wunderkind Somber
Hills and Aurateque frontwoman, Lauren Coleman 'you made a mess of me'
chronologies a toxic relationship — from desire to vulnerability and
finally breakdown. Akin to artists like Stand Atlantic or Sum 41, the
song's powerhouse nature is crafted by BESTIES' own Nat Sherwood on
guitar and production, along with singer Max Pasalic’s most dynamic
vocal performance to date. In the live scene, this track backs up the
group's stellar 2024, which saw them support the US' Lil Lotus on his
debut Australian headline dates, a sold-out Halloween show with
AM//PM's Emo Night and their largest single release with 'love bombs'.
Riding this momentum into 2025, BESTIES are hitting the road with
three live shows across March-April to celebrate the release of 'you
made a mess of me'. We acknowledge that this event is held on the
stolen lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our
respects to Elders, past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never
ceded.
