STINGA is the South-East Asian Audio-visual outfit born during the
2023 Vietnam tour of the same name, featuring members of underground
collectives CONTENT.NET.AU and stealthyn00b. Founded by visual artist
and VJ Passive Kneeling, STINGA is produced by Kuya Neil and Nerdie
(1300) and features BAYANG (tha Bushranger), lil ket, kk88, TT and
Zeraph on vocals. STINGA LIVE will be the group’s first live
performance in Sydney, celebrating the release of their first mixtape
‘Tour Diary ‘24’, which captures the raw, nostalgic energy of
the 4 day AirBnb studio bender in Da Lat, Vietnam. Over 7 tracks, the
group poured their hearts over 90s Filipino karaoke and rare Korean
YouTube rips with nothing but a busted microphone, case of 333 beer
and an assortment of Vietnamese cigarettes. Expect Bilingual bars over
karaoke pan flutes and hard hitting retro drums, shaped by the sonic
foundations of Vinahouse, Budots, K-pop, Juke, Jungle and Baile Funk.
Supporting the group are hometown favourites Heart Armour a trio of
longtime friends, bringing their hazy vocal sound, club-driven
percussion and a lush synth ambience to the Vanguard’s stage. **OPEN

featuring Kuya Neil's rare Sonken DVD karaoke machine, with live
scoring and over 1000 songs in English, Filipino and Vietnamese! Come
