FERRECK DAWN’s music revolves around powerful drums that lock in
dancers and keep the floor bumping, no matter what sub-genre he
explores. This signature style with its trademark soulful vocal
details has seen the Dutchman become one of the house scene’s most
recognisable artists. Over a storied two-decade career, he has never
stopped searching out new creative realms and remains right at the
sharp end of the scene with fresh new grooves on labels as diverse as
DEFECTED, Insomniac, Tomorrowland Records, and Repopulate
Mars.Ferreck’s unique ability to connect with both underground heads
and crossover crowds means he can headline huge shows at OVO Arena
Wembley and play smaller, more intimate clubs on a co-headline tour of
the US with pioneering house legend Todd Terry. This means that the
last couple of years have taken him to all-new heights and sold-out
sets at Printworks London alongside Nic Fanciulli for Defected, a
sold-out tour of Australia and a debut in South America. He has also
played huge headline dates at iconic US venues such as Brooklyn Mirage
and Space Miami, left his mark on Ibiza with supersized sessions at
the world’s most influential clubs, and wowed crowds across Miami
Music Week and the Croatian festival scene.
His desire to unite crowds and please every dancer in front of him on
the dance floor is what motivates and inspires Ferreck’s
productions. As his streaming numbers continue to soar through the
millions, his next releases will come with international hit makers
and chart toppers Meduza, Vintage Culture and Irish singer-songwriter
and rapper Maverick Sabre to name a few. The diversity of these
collaborators shows the range that Ferreck has in the studio and
accounts for his ability to mix up his personal musical DNA with new
inspirations. In the past, he has done so with the likes of David
Guetta’s house alias Jack Back, Lee Foss, A-Trak and Todd Terry, and
remixed an a-list of artists including Diplo, Tiesto, Martin Garrix,
Vintage Culture, Claptone, Oliver Heldens and many more.
Growing up in the Netherlands, Ferreck was surrounded by gabba and
hardcore but soon found more creative freedom in house and techno. His
early tune ‘In Arms’ on Defected in 2018 became one of the most
played tracks of the Ibiza season, reached the overall number 1 on
Beatport, and gathered over 70 million streams. He has followed that
up several times since with the likes of ‘Back Tomorrow’ with UK
vocalist Jem Cooke and has much more to come this year, all of which
will keep fans guessing and dance floors on their toes.
