botanical wonders of Empress Joséphine Bonaparte's world in a
captivating immersive exhibition. This 45-minute experience weaves a
rich tapestry of the exotic plants and animals from Australia’s
south and west coasts, species Josephine meticulously cultivated at
her celebrated Chateau de Malmaison in Paris. Through vivid
storytelling, striking visuals, and an evocative musical score by
Australian artists, discover the extraordinary biodiversity that
filled Joséphine’s gardens, from rare botanicals to remarkable
wildlife including black swans and kangaroos. Be transported to
the height of luxury and power in 19th century France from the moment
you enter. In the Studio, AGB Creative’s breathtaking digital
experience unfolds on our 110 square metres of wall-to-wall LED
screens boasting over 12.5 million pixels. Our Gallery is also
transformed by the ILA Creative team into a stunning French garden
inspired by the Napoleonic era featuring projections and creative
installations that extend Joséphine’s story. Don’t miss the

ILA will host a series of Relaxed Sessions which will include
reduced capacity, lowered volume, a quiet breakout space, and
permitted re-entry during the session. Tickets for relaxed sessions
are available from 10am - 10.45pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. ILA
honours the Companion Card scheme and card holders are entitled to a
second ticket to this event for their companion at no cost. Tickets
must be booked in advance – please purchase a zero price
