Legal Aid NSW will conduct a TENDER PROCESS TO APPOINT A WDVCAS
SERVICE PROVIDER IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS ACROSS NSW COMMENCING 1 JULY
2020. New Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (WDVCAS)
service agreements will commence on 1 July 2020. Legal Aid NSW will
conduct a tender process to appoint a service provider for the WDVCAS
in multiple locations across NSW. Eight information sessions will be
held in March 2020 to answer frequently asked questions about the
tender process and WDVCAS service agreements.
BACKGROUND
Legal Aid NSW administers NSW Government funding for 29 WDVCASs across
the state. WDVCASs provide WOMEN EXPERIENCING DOMESTIC AND FAMILY
VIOLENCE AND THEIR CHILDREN WITH INFORMATION, ADVOCACY, support and
referrals, particularly in relation to COURT PROCESSES. WDVCASs are
funded through Service Agreements between Legal Aid NSW and
incorporated, not-for-profit service providers. More information can

INFORMATION SESSIONS
In preparation for the tender in 2020, Legal Aid NSW will hold eight
information sessions in March in metropolitan and regional locations.
The aim of the information sessions is to provide potential tender
applicants with answers to frequently asked questions about the tender
process and WDVCAS service agreements. A probity advisor will attend
the sessions, along with representatives from Legal Aid NSW.
Please note that not all WDVCAS locations will be part of the TENDER
PROCESS, with the existing service provider being recontracted in a
number of WDVCAS locations. For more information, please visit the NSW
Government’s eTendering website (www.tenders.nsw.gov.au
