Birth Unit Tour: 7pm

Birth Unit tours are only for women booked to have their baby at Westmead Hospital.

Birth Unit Tours are held every Tuesday at 7pm and 7.30pm. 

You only require 1 ticket per couple and you need only enter the details of the pregnant woman.  

There is a maximum of 8 couples per tour.

Please note that your partner or support person is allowed to attend this tour. No extra people may attend as this can cause problems with over crowding in the birth unit area. 

The tour is free of charge and runs for approximately 20 minutes.

The tour maybe cancelled without notice due to priority healthcare needs in the Birth Unit.

If you are attending childbirth classes on a weeknight or weekend a birth unit tour is included as part of the class and you do not need to attend a separate birth unit tour.

Meet at the Information desk in the Main Hospital prior to your tour time.

The  Educator will introduce herself and take you on the tour of the Birth Unit.
