We're a diverse group of people with a love of reading and sharing a good book
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month
We welcome all Members and their friends.
We endeavour to limit numbers to 20Book Club GuidelinesTen members nominate their choice of book and month of presentation(We try to accommodate holidays, special occasions so that each month has a Presenter and interesting book)
Presenters are requested to remain committed to their month unless unusualcircumstances occur.
Every member will be expected to present a book at some time
The Convenor will introduce the Presenter and their book. The Presenter then leads the discussion
The Presenter summarises the book, including a history of the author, other booksby the writer and any additional information
The Presenter then asks pertinent questions about the book. E.g- how did you feelwhat was the outcome, did you notice, were you surprised, etc . Discuss whatever mayberelevant to the story.
Many of these questions are easily found in google.
