Their urban micro farm is a great place to see just how vegetables,
eggs and table poultry are raised for top quality chemical free food.
On their farm you can see where food comes from, experience a tasting
plate of vegetables you harvest as they take you on a farm tour,
meeting the farm animals, learning about the vegetables and how they
grow. Stay for morning or afternoon tea and try a snack made with
produce and preserves from the farm. Your hosts, Bronwyn and Helen,
are regenerative horticulturists and small farmers running their
unique small mixed organic farm in an urban setting within a small
rural town for the last 16 years. Call Helen or Bronwyn directly to
organise your tour. Wynlen House also runs workshops (on-line and
on-farm) to show people how to grow vegetables, garlic, and raise
small farm animals on a large suburban block and offer slow food
events to showcase the benefit and deliciousness of produce grown
locally, without chemical inputs and picked fresh.
