BLACKTOWN CITY COUNCIL UNDERSTANDS THAT THIS IS A VERY CHALLENGING TIME FOR OUR LOCAL BUSINESS COMMUNITY, particularly for new businesses, like yours, which have started operations this year.As a result, Cr Tony Bleasdale OAM, Mayor of Blacktown City and Blacktown City Council is looking forward to you coming along to our 'Welcome to Blacktown City 2020' evening. There will be presentations by NSW Government Agencies and local business associations. They will explain how they can help you expand and grow your business. Council will also present some of the business initiatives which we are providing to our local businesses. The evening will also provide you with an opportunity to meet other new business owners operating in Blacktown City. You can discuss the issues which are affecting you at the moment in a COVID safe way. The event will commence at 6pm in Council's Bowman Hall, 35 Campbell Street, Blacktown 2148. We will be operating a COVID-19 Safety Plan to ensure everyone's well-being. On arrival, you will be presented with a Certificate of Welcome and an Economic Development pack. This is a free event and food and refreshments will be provided during the evening. COVID-19 restrictions limit the number of guests allowed in the Bowman Hall to 164. As a result, you must confirm your attendance in advance, by registering and receiving your ticket online, on this site by clicking the green tab Register and following the prompts. You can register for 2 tickets, one for yourself and one your partner. Register now to avoid missing out ! All guests must agree to abide by the following rules when entering the Hall and participating in the event: sign in through the COVID-19 check in app and register on arrival. have their temperature checked on arrival use hand sanitiser on arrival and throughout the event area adhere to all 1.5m social distancing requirements during the evening You must not have: a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath. travelled internationally or to Victoria in the last 14 days had contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having corona-virus (COVID-19) been recently tested for COVID- 19 and awaiting results. The 'Welcome to Blacktown' evening is an amazing opportunity for all you new businesses. Come along and join us to network and discuss our issues with each other!
