An INTRODUCTION TO KETTLEBELLS FOR REHABILITATIONLearn how to build athletic resilience, robustness and adaptability in your patients and athletes. This one day, hands on workshop will focus on learning the basics of kettlebells as a tool to introduce load to athletes as they recover from injury. The content is based on current research, and evidence based rehab protocols. You will learn practical strategies to bridge the gap between low threshold correctives and game ready athletic demands. During the workshop we will consider the following: What is the value of KETTLEBELLS IN A REHABILITATION SETTING? How can strength training apply to REHABILITATION AND WHY IS THE KETTLEBELL WELL SUITED TO THE TASK? How do I use a kettlebell and who is it suitable for? Loading protocols and programming Practical and relevant examples You will learn the finer points of: The deadlift The squat The kettlebell swing The Turkish getup The military press Progressions and regressions
