STRUGGLE WITH WRITING SOPHISTICATED ESSAYS FOR ENGLISH? IN THIS
PRELIM HSC KICKSTARTER HOLIDAY WORKSHOP, WE’RE GOING TO HELP YOU
MASTER ESSAY WRITING FOR THE NEW HSC ENGLISH SYLLABUS!
In this 2.5 hour workshop during the school holidays on Thursday 16th
January and Thursday 23rd of January we’re going to help you:
* Write a BAND 6 HSC ENGLISH ESSAY for Year 11
* Craft a COMPELLING THESIS STATEMENT
* Identify KEY IDEAS to explore in your essay
* Write a CLEAR, SUCCINCT INTRODUCTION
* Construct RELEVANT, INSIGHTFUL ANALYSIS of your text
* Craft TOPIC and LINKING SENTENCES
* Round out your ESSAY WITH A CLEAR CONCLUSION
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO MASTER THIS NOW?
With the new HSC syllabus changing assessment types, it means
memorising essays for assessments will no longer work. Instead,
students need to be building up their WRITING SKILLS AND THIS TAKES
TIME! So the best time to work on this is now before things count in
Year 12!
