Hiring Manager Briefing Sessions: Recruiting the best Talent to UNSW

The TALENT ACQUISITION TEAM AIM TO PROVIDE YOU A POSITIVE AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS. ABOUT THIS EVENT The Talent Acquisition team aim to provide you a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment process, and want to work in partnership with you to find the very best candidate. We are running a series of Hiring Manager ‘Briefing Sessions’ with all Faculties and Divisions to outline our improved recruitment process and the support we can provide to get the right person in the job, faster. AFTER ATTENDING THIS SESSION, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO: * Explain the recruitment process at UNSW * Describe the role and responsibilities of a Hiring Manager, and the support offered by the Talent Acquisition Team during a recruitment process * List the support tools and techniques available to Hiring Managers to ‘speed up’ their recruitment * Demonstrate key techniques to be used during interviews to avoid bias or discrimination. We encourage all colleagues planning to recruit in 2019 to attend the session, but also encourage experienced Hiring Managers to attend to learn ‘tips and tricks’ to speed up their recruitment.
