An email to Miranda July kickstarts an amusing road trip in this Canadian quasi-doc. When a Québécois filmmaker decides her creative practice needs a fresh start, she emails Miranda July out of the blue and, before getting any response, drives to Los Angeles with her cinematographer (Isabelle Stachtchenko, the film’s actual cinematographer).
