Life can feel a bit overwhelming sometimes, can't it?
Like hamsters on a wheel, sometimes we don't quite know how to slow
down.
But there _are_ ways to slow down.
And one of the best ways is to get involved in your community and
learn the practice of Meditation and Mindfulness.
Mindful meditation is the act of anchoring yourself to the present and
learning to cope with stressful thoughts and feelings in a helpful way
whilst simultaneously calming the mind and body.
According to Sane Australia
[https://www.sane.org/information-stories/facts-and-guides/mindfulness],
practicing Mindfulness can reduce stress and anxiety, and even improve
concentration and memory.
Our Lunchtime Meditation and Mindfulness group runs every Tuesday, and
is a safe space for people to be guided through a variety of different
Meditation and Mindfulness activites to further develop their own
personal practice.
Everyone is welcome to join!
