This event is for everyone who loves Japan as much as we do. You will find many Japanese festival attractions at the Matsuri Japan Festival in Willoughby, including Japanese food stalls, traditional arts/crafts workshops, and exciting stage performances. ACTIVITIES: • There’ll be some fantastic workshops where you can enjoy and learn more about Japanese culture through the day: • Calligraphy workshop - Learn the art of brush strokes with Shodou (Japanese calligraphy) by RENCLUB • Japanese Tea Ceremony - Enjoy real Match and feel the grace of this traditional art of tea ceremony • Ikebana workshop - Watch the fantastic demonstration of flower arrangement and learn the beauty of Japanese traditional art through the hands-on workshop • Origami workshop - Have a go at making all sorts of wonderful origami designs STALLS: Discover and enjoy some delicious festival food at our various stalls: PERFORMANCES: We’ll have the amazing line-up of performances from exciting taiko drumming to traditional martial arts.
