Description You are invited to attend a free FORUM AND EXPO FOR MENTAL
HEALTH STAFF, volunteers and community leaders working with clients
from CULTURALLY AND LINGUISTICALLY (CALD) DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS IN THE
NORTHERN SYDNEY REGION. The FORUM WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, from
8.30am to 1.30pm at the CHATSWOOD RSL, 446 Victoria Avenue, CHATSWOOD
NSW 2067. The program will provide an opportunity to hear from experts
in the area of: - navigating MENTAL HEALTH AND DRUG AND ALCOHOL
SERVICES - Access to services in the hosptial and community - Panel
discussion of case studies - Funded language specific services -
Interpreter services Places are limited so please register early.
Registrations close 21st February 2020. A full program will be emailed
to registrants prior to the event. Morning tea and a light lunch will
be provided. The event is being organised by The NORTHERN SYDNEY LOCAL
HEALTH DISTRICT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH the SYDNEY NORTH PRIMARY HEALTH
NETWORK. Parking Limited street parking is available on
Victoria Avenue, CHATSWOOD and surrounding roads. Free parking for
three hours only is available in the Westfield car park, CHATSWOOD.
Parking fees will be charged in accordance with the schedule or fees
displayed in the car park. Public Transport Travel to the CHATSWOOD
RSL via public transport is recommended. The venue is a couple of
minutes walk from CHATSWOOD Station, with services from the SYDNEY
METRO AND THE NORTH SHORE LINES. Regular bus services also terminate
at CHATSWOOD Station from the NORTHERN BEACHES AND THE NORTH WEST
