Thursday April 11 award-winning author Dave Warner launches his ninth
crime novel River of Salt at Manly Spirits in Brookvale on Sydney’s
northern beaches. Once hailed by Bob Dylan as his favourite Australian
music artist, Warner promises this launch will have music as well as a
reading from the new book and some performance poetry. Australia’s
premier surf guitarist Martin Cilia will play a few tunes in keeping
with the surf noire novel, while Dave will team with Tony Durant and
Martin for a few Warner classics, and Nicole Dave’s wife will sing a
few tunes of her own.
