Join us in a safe loving space at THE SOBER SOCIAL for a Self Love
WORKSHOP. What exactly is SELF LOVE? We all have our own meaning for
it and it's something that many of us struggle with. Through my own
journey I have learned that Self Love is about LOVING YOURSELF JUST AS
MUCH AS YOU LOVE OTHERS. Are you someone who isn't happy with what you
see in the mirror everyday? Are you hard on yourself if you make a
mistake? Do you seek validation from others? When asked the question,
"What do you love about yourself?", do you find it easier to come up
with reasons you hate yourself? Do you feel guilty for taking time for
yourself? or see yourself saying yes to things you don't actually want
to do?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this workshop is for
YOU! In this workshop we will cover all of those questions but we
will also discuss three main points for your own journey of Self Love.
What are they?
1. INNER DIALOGUE: What is the language you speak to yourself and
where did that language come from? Our inner dialogue usually starts
as a child and we have been telling ourselves things that are not true
for so long you actually believe what you tell yourself. Have you
noticed if your inner dialogue is more negative or positive? Why do we
say things to ourselves that we would never say to someone else? It's
true we are our worst critic. This is the first step to your Self Love
journey. When we can tune that language your whole world will change
in a positive way.
2. BODY POSITIVITY: Our bodies are the vehicles that carry our soul
and they are INCREDIBLE! HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT YOUR BODY DOES
FOR YOU INSTEAD OF JUST WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE? Why are we so hard on
ourselves? We will discuss this topic and ways you can learn how to
give your body more love than you ever have before. How to love your
body a little more each day as you grow and change through life.
3. SELF CARE: HELLO! Have you ever planned an entire day dedicated to
yourself? A day free from the world where you didn't answer your phone
while you were in town. You had no commitments to anyone and you
didn't feel guilty for filling your own cup? We will discuss how to
bring self care into your day to day and different ways you can BRING
MORE JOY INTO YOUR LIFE DOING THE THINGS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL ALIVE! I
thought I knew what self care was until I realised I was actually
working myself to death and over booking myself in every free moment I
had. What a perfect day for this workshop since it will be SELF CARE
SUNDAY!
THE JOURNEY OF SELF LOVE IS A DAILY PRACTICE AND EVEN IF YOU ARE
ALREADY ON YOUR JOURNEY OF SELF LOVE THIS IS A GREAT WORKSHOP FOR YOU
TO STAY MOTIVATED AND GAIN SOME NEW TOOLS.
This is an event for all people, all races, genders and ages. If you
are a father or mother and want to bring your teen with you this will
be a great workshop for them as well. Snacks and tea will be provided
too.
