For one week in March, renowned polar conservationist and G ADVENTURES
EXPEDITION LEADER SUSAN ADIE IS COMING TO TOUR Australia for the
first time, bringing with her stories and wisdom from the ends of the
EARTH.Dedicating her life and career to environmental conservation,
Susan Adie is one of G Adventures' most decorated tour leaders, having
been recognised by the National Geographic Society, the National
Audubon Society and other esteemed organisations for her work in
environmental conservation. Susan's work certainly hasn't
gone unnoticed. In 2015, Adie Cove, an inlet on Antarctica’s
western coast, was named for Susan in recognition of her work in
responsible polar tourism and conservation.
Adie joined G Adventures as an Expedition leader in 2010 and has led
more than 200 trips in the polar regions. She enjoys sharing the
spirit of appreciation (and amazement) in the G Adventures travellers
she brings to Antarctica every year. Responsible travel, Adie says, is
integral to understanding the importance of protecting and preserving
the region.
