Diabetes Contraception and Pre-Pregnancy Workshop – Grant Preparation.

This WORKSHOP WILL BRING TOGETHER CLINICIANS, consumers and health service managers to develop a NSW Translational Research GRANTS SCHEME PROPOSAL TO IMPLEMENT AND EVALUATE AN INTEGRATED CONTRACEPTION AND PRE-PREGNANCY MANAGEMENT APPROACH FOR WOMEN WITH PRE-existing DIABETES ACROSS MULTIPLE DISTRICTS IN NEW SOUTH WALES. Key questions that will be mapped out in the workshop How can we optimise uptake of pre-pregnancy and contraception programmes among people with known diabetes-taking into account the multi-ethnic cultural, socioeconomic and geographical diversity? What are the drivers and barriers of a pre-pregnancy and contraception programme among people with known diabetes beyond a single health district?
