Community Lantern Making Event - Nov 24

Come and join us at the Leura Garage for the lantern making events!

Children aged 4-12 can enjoy a few hours of arts and crafts to create their lantern masterpiece that they will showcase on the 18th of December for the Christmas festival lantern parade in Leura. Nibbles and drinks will be served during the events. Prizes from the Leura Toy store, Megalong Books and Teddy Sinclair will be awarded for the best lantern in each age category.

When: 24th of Nov, 30th of Nov, 3rd of Dec, 10th of Dec

Time: 3pm - 5pm

Where: Leura Garage cafe' and restaurant

Who: Kids ages 4 -7 must be accompanied by an adult. Children over 8 are encouraged to attend without a parent parents can sit outside for a drink but were trying to maximise the participation of children up to our covid capacity. The event will be covid safe with a dedicated covid marshall, parents will need to register children on arrival and payment will be collected on arrival NOT ON PICKUP.

Cost: $12 per child includes full lantern kit & drinks and nibbles at the Garage. Proceeds will be donated to the Leura Village Association and will contribute to the Christmas Festival held on the 18th of December. Please reserve your tickets, including 1 parent, so that we know how many people will attend the event.
