Enjoy teacher professional development in a relaxed, informal environment with peers from other schools. Our focus will be looking at how we can make thinking visible in classrooms and shift away from marking and assessing student growth based only on tests, assessment items and completed tasks. James and Garreth, who have completed the Harvard School of Education Project Zero course on Making Thinking Visible, will facilitate the evening and break open some of the Visible Thinking routines used to help guide and enhance student's thinking and provide a means for teachers to gain greater insight into the learning occurring amongst their students.
