NATION 2 NATION - SETTLING THE PAST AND SECURING THE FUTURE.This interactive two day workshop presented by; The Hon. Gaan-Yarra of Yalmabara (Attorney-General) and the Hon. Murrumu of Walubara (Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister) of the Yidinji Nation. Together they will look at the journey of the Yidindji Nation. As well as dealing with topic as vast as Expressions of Sovereignty: Legal personalities, the Uluru statement and the United NAtions Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. International and Intertribal diplomacy Protecting the Comonwealth of Australia, security of person, security of tenure. There will also be the Launch of Yidindji postal stamps and the anual Yie-Nie Lecture by the Hon. Murrumu of Walubara (Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister) of the Yidinji Nation.
