2020 GlebeConnected Ageing in Place Co-design Workshop

This WORKSHOP BRINGS COMMUNITY MEMBERS, local services, and other stakeholders together to improve the experience of AGEING IN GLEBE. GlebeConnected [http://www.glebeconnected.com.au/] is a collaboration of Glebe based community groups, schools, universities, organisations and residents. In 2019, GlebeConnected conducted community consultations with Glebe residents aged 55 and over.  The workshop aims to find ways community members and existing services and community groups can work together to explore themes arising from the engagements and improve the experience of ageing in Glebe, particularly for those from social and economic disadvantaged backgrounds. We invite you to be part of the next phase of this project. The workshop will be a co-design workshop which recognises community and residents expertise. We know that local organisations and residents have great ideas . The workshop aims to uncover these ideas and identify what we could do together over the coming year. Everyone who attends the workshop will have the change to participate. The day will begin with an overview of findings from the Glebe ageing project’s consultations and we be inspired by a guest speaker, we'll then get to work on what change we can make together. The day will end with a catered networking lunch. Morning tea will be provided.  10am - 1pm - workshop 1pm - 2:30pm - lunch and entertainment.
