camera and are committed to a career in the photographic industry but
you aren’t sure how to get started. This 1-day workshop introduces
self-motivated entrepreneurs to the business aspects of a career as a
professional photographer. From strategies to promotions, participants
will explore the realities of freelancing in an environment dominated
by digital networks and website search engines. This workshop
introduces participants to the standards, organisations and legalities
of the industry, whilst offering practical instruction on how to start
a business plan. The workshop also covers basic book-keeping such as
quoting, invoicing and budgeting, as well how to approach and maintain
a good reputation with clients and peers. Prerequisites and
