INSTALLATION Hope Butterflies colony Interactive community art
installation Share Tweet 2000 Hope Butterflies will swarm into the
Surry Hills Library this November. The Hope Butterfly colony created
by Nick Baldas was launched in 2018 as part of National Water Week in
the Blue Mountains. This interactive community art installation
created by primary school students and artists is crafted from
recycled materials, donated artworks and butterflies drawn directly
onto stencil paper. Each butterfly is unique and carries hope wishes
on its wings. If you would like to add your own butterfly to the
colony, please contact Nick. In memory of the Pearl White Butterfly
Colony once found within the Royal Botanic Garden. Advertisement Where
