the Cenotaph outside 1 MARTIN PLACE. SYDNEY BOASTS A VARIETY OF
BEAUTIFUL 19TH CENTURY SANDSTONE BUILDINGS. Two clusters of such
buildings are located along Macquarie St and George St between MARTIN
PLACE and Bathurst St respectively. Not only are these buildings
architecturally impressive and showcasing fascinating features, but
many interesting stories are attached to the people planning,
constructing and using them. Join Jo Gerk on a leisurely two hour
stroll of DISCOVERY AROUND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, which also includes
other sights, stories and pieces of trivia along the way. Buildings
featured on this walk include General Post Office, State Library,
SYDNEY HOSPITAL, St. Mary’s Cathedral, St. Andrew’s Cathedral,
Town Hall and Queen Victoria Building Please note: This walk will go
