Aboriginal Bush Food Experience

Experience the world's oldest living culture through bush food tasting and demonstrations

Join our passionate Aboriginal guides to discover how to incorporate native Australian bush foods with everyday ingredients. Use a traditional coolamon to gather seasonal fruits, seeds, berries, native vegetables and plants from around the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney before learning about traditional food preparation methods and tasting your very own bush food infused recipes.

This is a unique opportunity in the heart of Sydney to:

• Gain a deeper understanding of Aboriginal heritage and culture as well as connection to country
• Use traditional methods to gather and prepare food
• Learn how to identify seasonal bush food
• Enjoy tasting bush food inspired recipes

Time: 1:00 - 3:00pm

Meeting point: The Learning Centre, enter via Woolloomooloo Gate. See map below. 
Cost: Members $72.00 per person | Non members $85.00 per person. Ticket cost includes all food ingredients.
