This CIBSE accredited CPD session explains the technical advances in the Fan Coil market related to the needs of consultants, contractors and end users. It provides an overview for all stakeholders:

Consultants: Ease of validation of air and water flows at site – “what you designed is what you get”, soft landing at commissioning and energy savings.

 

Contractors: Ease of commissioning at the touch of a switch, pre-fabricated controls and valves to save construction time.

 

End Users: Low running cost FCU and associated equipment, simply compatible with any BMS through BACnet.

 

Plus a brief introduction to energy loops, heat pumps and fan coil units being utilised in apartment markets. An example of the technology will be available for attendess to view.

 

Simon Rowe: International Sales Director, Glen Dimplex - Ability Projects

 

Simon Rowe is the International Sales Director of Glen Dimplex’s air conditioning division, Ability Projects, who are a specialist Fan Coil manufacturer based in the UK.

 

Simon has spent the majority of his career in the air conditioning industry. Joining Carrier in 1986 where he worked for 8 years within the industrial refrigeration and applied air conditioning field. Moving to Hitachi Europe in 1995 he spent 13 years as European General Manager responsible forstrategic planning and the expansion of air conditioning operations in Europe. This was followed by 6 years as European Director of Samsung’s air conditioning business after which he joined Glen Dimplex in 2018. Simon graduated from Sheffield University in the UK with a degree in Chemical Engineering and Fuel Technology and is a Chartered Chemical Engineer.

What's the dress code? 

The majority of people come straight from work so whatever you wear professionally is fine.

 

When should I arrive? 

Registrations starts from 5:30pm, for a 6:00pm start. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the start you will probably miss our introduction and unsettle our guest speakers, so please try to be prompt.

 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can bring your printed ticket or alternatively install the Eventbrite app on your mobile phone.

 

How do I contact the speakers, and will the presentation be made available?

After the event, the CIBSE ANZ news page will be updated with a summary of the event, presentation sides for download and contact details for the speakers.

Do we have a refund policy?

You can cancel your booking up to 7 days before an event and your ticket will be fully refunded. Anytime after this point no refunds will be provided, based on venue preparation.
