Impact Story Lab Sydney - Launch & Lunch

Come and celebrate the launch of Impact Story Lab Sydney, Digital Storytellers’ new home and creative space on William St in Darlinghurst. 

Following the launch of The Gadigal Mural downstairs, we invite you to come and explore our new digs, tell us your latest news and learn about our plans to mark a new dawn for the local impact community.

Help us fill up this amazing space with your impact storytelling ideas! 

Made possible by the incredible folks at Hub Australia and City of Sydney, our vision is that Impact Story Lab Sydney will bring together diverse voices to harness the creative power of Impact Storytelling to change the narrative of the world. It is a space to connect, collaborate, co-create and scale positive impact.

This event is preceded by the Gadigal Mural Launch hosted by the Australian Design Centre at 11am to 12pm. You are invited to the mural launch event as well and hopefully you can make both. 

Whether you're a storytelling practitioner, social enterprise, creative freelancer, purpose-driven or impact investor, film-maker, or are simply a purpose-driven professional looking for a new home, here's your chance to help us co-create the future of impact storytelling in Sydney over a delicious lunch provided by social enterprise Parliament on King.

Note: Starting 28 May, we will be inviting Expressions of Interest to join us for the pilot phase of Impact Story Lab Sydney, with the goal of co-creating a sustainable model come October. So come and check it out on May 30! If you can't make it to the event, no worries, just register for the EOI process ticket on this page and we'll make sure you get the necessary information.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, with lift access and accesible toilets. There is unfortunately no accessible parking close by. We won't have an AUSLAN interpreter at this event; you are most welcome to bring an interpreter along, and register them too (for catering). Guide dogs welcome. Please contact us ahead of time if you have any questions or need any specific assistance.
