Are you creative and looking to delve into the world of Entertainment & Production Design?

Learners will design, sculpt and produce a special effects monster prosthetic for use in film, theatre, television or events.

This course is fully government-subsidised for eligible students, meaning you will not have to pay any course fees. It is part of a program to help people develop the skills they need to get a job, undertake entry level qualifications or transition to a new job.

You will need to attend approximately 3 hours of class over 1 evening a week for 9 weeks.

Orientation and your first class will be held on Wednesday 12 February 2020 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.

Learners will explore basic special effects makeup techniques for the film, theatre and television.

This hands-on short course is for learners who want to up-skill to improve employability. Learners will explore all aspects of staging an event or festival from concept and design through to basic logistics and budget.

Statement of Attainment in Illustrating Book for Children

Introduction to and wonderful world of creating picture books for children. You will learn to work with a simple script to a construct age appropriate visual narrative to inspire children to dream and to read.

Statement of Attainment in Traditional Illustration Techniques

Learners will explore traditional wet and dry illustration techniques including pen and ink, watercolour and acrylic.

Statement of Attainment in Digital Illustration Techniques

Learners will explore digital illustration techniques using Illustrator, Photoshop and the Wacom tablet.

Statement of Attainment in Millinery for the Stage

Learners will design and make a work of millinery exploring a range of materials to be shown in exhibition at the iconic Enmore Theatre.

Statement of Attainment in Millinery for the races

Learners will identity, develop and construct a range of costume accessories for productions in the screen, media, entertainment and events industries.

Statement of Attainment in Concept Development for Short Films

Learners will be introduced to all aspects of art directing a short film including concept and design, props, wardrobe, location and set dressing.
