Description
Starting at Customs House in Sydney's Circular Quay, you will discover some of Sydney's CBD architectural masterpieces with a AAA trained volunteer tour leader in a leisurely two-hour walk.
From architect Harry Seidler’s iconic Australia Square tower that dominated the cityscape when it was completed in 1967, the tour explores some of Sydney's amazing skyscrapers, including the 6-green-star rated No.1 Bligh Street.
See part of the tank stream which attracted the first fleet to settle in Sydney Harbour and the ingenious excavation beneath the Botanic Gardens to provide more classrooms for the Conservatorium of Music.
The tour will finish at a spot with a view of the harbour and the Sydney Opera House.
