The performer:
Stacey Xiaoyu Yang is a doctoral candidate (majoring in organ performance and literature) in the studio of Professor David Higgs at the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY. She is currently also completing a Masters degree in Collaborative Piano at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of David Miller and Phillip Shovk. She is the Organ Scholar at St Pauls College, the University of Sydney. She is the deputy organist and music director at Hunter Baillie Presbyterian Church, Annandale and also works as a piano accompanist for the Australian Catholic University Choir. Between 2019-2020, she worked as an interim organ scholar and acting assistant organist at St James' Church, King Street. She holds a MMus (Eastman) and LTCL in organ performance, a LMusA in piano performance and has performed extensively both in Australia and Overseas including Sydney Opera House, St James', King St, Christ Church St Laurence, Our Lady's Basilica at Tongeren in Belgium, Marktkirche, Wiesbaden in Germany, HongKong Cultural Centre and Cathedrals in Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle, Antwerp, and Madrid.
