Celebrate NAIDOC Week 2021 by making your own bracelet. Well even throw in a special craft for you to take home!

Bookings are essential, as places are limited to 12 attendees

We cant wait to see you there!

Age: 8 to 12 year olds

Where: Wentworth Point Community Centre and Library, Fab Lab

Conditions of participation to story time session

  • Please arrive promptly by 3pm.
  • Stay at home if you or your child are feeling unwell.
  • You will need to show proof of booking upon arrival.
  • You will need to follow all conditions of entry to the library, register personal details with Service NSW and use hand sanitiser before entering the story time session.
  • No entry after 3:05pm
  • Adults are strongly encouraged to wear masks while in the session
  • Observe 1.5 metre social distancing inside Wentworth Point Community Centre and Library.
  • Please do not move furniture/ cushions outside of your allocated space.
  • Entry has to be pre booked, no walk ins will be accepted.
  • No food is permitted in the area.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Students 10 years and under will need to have a parent in the building while the class takes place. This is in accordance with the Children in the Library Policy throughout the whole building.

STUDENT CONDUCT

Students attending classes will follow the rules of Wentworth Point Community Centre and Library and the instructions of the teacher or other staff.

Students will not interfere with the work of others and will not behave in ways that present risks to the safety of themselves or others.

Students who present a risk to others or themselves through repeated inappropriate behavior may be refused enrolment.

If children do not follow the rules or repeated requests from teachers or other staff to behave in an appropriate manner, parents will be contacted to collect their child from the Centre.

COVID-19 Guidelines

Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell and have cough, cold or flu symptoms

Please do not attend if you have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in 14 days prior to attending the class or if directed by health authorities to stay at home

Social distancing of 2m applies at all times. Please avoid congregating before the start and at the end of the class

Noting your attendance with the facilitator during each session is mandatory. Maintaining accurate attendance records is the shared responsibility of both the program facilitator and program attendees

Practice good hygiene and sanitise during and after the class

Ensure you are up to date and following the latest government guidelines and public health orders

ACCESSIBILITY

The facility is completely wheelchair accessible and ambulant toilets are located through the building.

Hearing augmentation is present throughout the entire facility

If you are coming by car, Marina Square Shopping Centre and Pierside Shopping Centre both offer free parking. 3 hour parking can also be found on the surrounding streets:Marina Square Shopping Centre Carpark (3 Hour Free Parking, 9am 7pm)

Pierside Shopping Centre Parking (2 Hours Free Parking, 6am 10pm)

Limited Street Parking (3 Hours Free Parking, 7am 7pm)
