Draft Leadership Strategy Feedback Consultations 2019 - 2020 About this Event Feedback on the current draft strategy will be sought from all departmental leaders from mid-November. Once approved by all stakeholders, the draft strategy will be published and released in April 2020. Throughout the months of August and September 2019, we consulted with approximately 250 leaders and employees from across the department, as well as key stakeholder groups including Principal Associations and Unions. The consultation process sought the views of leaders at all levels and from all leadership contexts in order to understand: • leadership opportunities and challenges experienced within the department by different types and levels of leaders across various contexts • the key capabilities and capability uplift pieces at different phases of leadership, across different contexts and roles • learning requirements, preferences and methods for continuing professional learning and development. This workshop will be held in the Conference Room, Level 12 Conference Centre, Education House, 30 Mary Street, Brisbane.
