and managers are daunted by the prospect of undertaking disciplinary
action, including the dismissal of employees. There are legal risks
associated with GETTING IT WRONG, but when done RIGHT THERE SHOULD BE
NOTHING TO FEAR. This course will provide participants with the
knowledge and skills to give them the confidence to deal with poor
performance and misconduct issues, whilst minimising the risk of
successful claims being made against your business.

general protections, discrimination, bullying * Procedural fairness
* Conducting disciplinary and dismissal meetings * Evaluating
evidence and determining penalty or sanction * Drafting of
disciplinary documentation * Record keeping

* Identify the legal risks in managing performance and conduct
issues
* Apply a procedurally fair disciplinary process
* Conduct effective and defensible disciplinary and dismissal
meetings
* Determine and implement appropriate disciplinary outcomes
* Undertake best practice in relation to disciplinary record keeping
