the Ecole de Pole MASTER Training Course series are for you! Based on
functional teaching methodology written by Justine McLucas, each level
will earn you 6 CECs with Fitness Australia. Suitable as an instructor
training tool, for new or experienced teachers, the courses will also
provide insight and skills for the pole dancer wishing to further
their own personal understanding of pole training even if not to
teach, but to apply improved techniques and training methods to their
pole workouts. Course Level: Beginner Master Training Course Dates:

Brisbane City QLD 4000) Time: Day 1 (1:30-5:30pm), Day 2 (10am-2pm)

Pre-Requisites: 6 months pole training recommended. Accreditation
Credits: You will be eligible to earn 6 CECs from Fitness Australia
upon completion of this course. Manual & Admin Handbook: Will be
emailed 7 days prior to course date and after payment is received
(there is some pre-reading to do) Course Objectives: This course has
been designed to build the knowledge to plan and instruct a safe
beginner level pole fitness workout and to deliver an effective class
through appropriate demonstration, using a wide range of teaching and
communication skills. Upon successful completion of this course,
participants will be able to: • Describe the value of fitness •
Understand their responsibilities as a pole instructor and how to
build confidence with their students • Understand how to safely
adapt tricks to suit the varying needs and fitness levels of students
in a general beginner class • Identify muscles required, and correct
the technique of students using watch out points and tips during the
exercise or movement • Understand how to structure a beginner pole
routine, incorporating musicality and dance aspects and how to deliver
this to a class Study Time: 9.5 hours (1.5 hours self paced learning &
online theory exam, 8 hours face to face tutorials including practical
assessment) Course Content: • Principles of Pole Fitness • How to
structure a Beginner Class: build an effective warm up, plan a
balanced class, structure routines and link movements in combinations,
safe cool downs • Muscles & Anatomy essential in Pole (weight
bearing exercise, muscle movements and joint actions in pole grips)
• Health & Safety (risk assessments, pre- exercise screening,
spotting, instructor responsibilities) • Teaching Methodology
(teaching and learning styles, cueing and communicating) • Dance
Aspects (counting, phrasing, musicality, rhythm & imagery) •
Contraindications and how to adapt tricks accordingly • Technique of
Beginner tricks & spins (muscles used, progressions and regressions),
teaching points, safety, spotting, correcting students) • Functional
