Health Consumers Queensland provides training to health staff on the Fundamentals of Partnering with Consumers.
This session is for Department of Health staff who are currently or will be partnering with consumers on committees, projects, focus groups, etc.
If you are employed by a HHS, please contact your local engagement officer to find out when we are next delivering training at your facility.
The session will cover:
Barriers and enablers to effective engagement with consumers and carers
The why, what, who and when of engaging with consumers and carers
What you need to know to recruit, involve and support consumers and carers on committees and projects
Light refreshments will be provided for morning tea. You are welcome to bring your own lunch.
Maximum of 12 participants will be accepted for this months training.
