ARE YOU FULL OF BRIGHT IDEAS?Join us at the 2020 Big Fish Weekend and learn how to turn your ideas into reality! Bringing together 60 BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FROM OUR REGION, AGED 14 – 25, for three days of intensive and fun learning through doing. You’ll be guided through the creative entrepreneurship process. You WILL start a new enterprise in three days! On day one, bright ideas will be brainstormed, and you will form teams. Over the weekend, you will discover how to turn ideas into real business ventures. Three days of fun and experimental workshops, inspiring mentors and good food, all culminating in a final Pitch event with special guest judges. All participants will walk away with new skills, industry and peer connections, future career insights and inspiration. No prior knowledge of start-ups or entrepreneurship needed, just a great attitude. ------------------------- WHEN: 3pm Friday, 3 April to 4pm Sunday 5 April 2020 WHERE: CQUniversity Cairns, Level 3, Corner Abbott and Shields Streets COST: No cost. including meals during the three-day event. We are able to waive the event cost of $350 per participant, thanks to funding and support from sponsors Y(E)P Entrepreneurship Facilitators, Ignite FNQ, CQUniversity and Cairns Regional Council.
