LAUNCH: 6PM FRIDAY 1 FEBRUARY - FREE
The art of panoramic landscape photography is slow, meticulous and, at
times, frustrating; travelling to far way locations, waiting for the
right light, the right sky, the right moment, the right fraction of a
second.
In A Panoramic VISION, MITCHELL BURNS SHARES THE REWARDS OF HIS
PATIENCE, his years of learning and his many expeditions to striking
locations around AUSTRALIA.
Based in CAIRNS, MITCHELL BURNS GREW UP IN TROPICAL NORTH QUEENSLAND,
where his love of photography first started. Even at a young age, he
loved to take photos of anything that caught his eye; often using
cheap disposable cameras available in any shop. In his teens, he
purchased his first digital SLR. Through countless hours on the net,
reading and watching videos, MITCHELL SLOWLY TAUGHT HIMSELF THE ART OF
LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY.
Today, MITCHELL’s skills rival the best in the business. This, his
first solo exhibition, proves that MITCHELL BURNS IS A RISING STAR TO
WATCH.
