CQCC17 - The God of Grace (Mackay)

Some people see God as distant, indifferent and aloof. Other people think he is angry, harsh and demanding, but in the Bible, God has revealed himself to us as the God of GRACE. A God who demonstrates his favour towards us in his Son, Jesus Christ. We are delighted to have Peter Jensen come and speak at this year's Central Queensland Christian Convention on the topic of the Grace of God and the God of Grace. We hope you will make every effort to join us. This is one event not to be missed. This year’s speaker is Reverend Dr Peter Jensen.  Peter Jensen is a recognised, key leader in the worldwide Anglican Church and is highly sort after as an international speaker. Peter is warm and engaging but also an outspoken figure on the Australian Christian scene. He once told the Prime Minister of Australia to read his Bible! Peter retired as the Archbishop of Sydney in 2013. He is married to Christine and has five adult children. CQCC17 IS ON FRIDAY 18TH – SATURDAY 19TH AUGUST AT MACKAY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH: 89 EVANS AVENUE, NORTH MACKAY, AND MACKAY EVANGELICAL CHURCH (MAKE): FITZGERALD STATE SCHOOL HALL, NORRIS ROAD, NORTH MACKAY.  Friday Night @ MAKE will run from 7.00pm – 8.30pm (doors open at 6.30pm) Saturday @ Mackay Presbyterian will run from 9.00am – 3.30pm (doors open at 8.30am)  On Sunday, Peter will give an additional talk at Mackay Presbyterian Church – 9.30am and repeated at MAKE - 4pm.
